I love both of these products! I use both of them for different areas of my face. I feel Dysport has a little bit more spread, so if I want an area like my crow’s feet to relax softly. Botox is more precise, so I like to use it for the 11s and forehead. 

The truth is that both of these products deliver beautiful results. Both kick in within 14 days and last for about 3-4 months, depending on the dose and area treated. For our clinic, it gives us another tool to play with, and I think they both have a role in the aesthetic world. If you ask a representative from the manufacturer, they will tell you Botox and Dysport are not created equally, although they are both neuromodulators. There are differences in the manufacturing process, accessory proteins, and dosage. Botox is considered the gold standard in the industry and is the most toxin used in our practice. We have patients who have switched from Botox to Dysport and are happy. We always say that if Botox works for you, stick with it. 

As a  BYM patient, we offer two different Botox/Dysport appointments. You can come on a Botox Clinic Day, where Botox is at a discount, and it’s a much faster appointment than a regular clinic day. On Botox Clinic Days, you can purchase the annual membership for $150 to lock in your price for the year of $9/unit for 60+ u, or $10/u for less than 60 u, your first visit is $8/u, and you’ll receive a free Eneles CBD skincare travel kit with all four products valued at $120. For non-members, the price is $11/u. On regular clinic days, Botox is $13/u for less than 59 u or $12/u for 60+ units.
