SUMMER, Nurse
Summer is a Registered Nurse, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a licensed pharmacy
technician. With over 10 years of experience in aesthetics, she is an expert injector with Botox® and Dysport, dermal fillers, and Sculptra.
Summer is known as a skincare guru specializing in anti-aging, acne, hyperpigmentation,
redness, rosacea, and the overall integrity of your unique skin! She began her career as a laser nurse specializing in IPL, Fractional Lasers, CO2, Micro-needling, Laser Hair Removal, and Radio
Frequency Devices.
Summer is known as the “lip queen” around Be You Medical! She is very personable with her clients, and you’ll leave your appointment with the education and assessment you need for the treatment that is right for you! Her schedule varies throughout the week in location, you can book an appointment with Summer at Sacramento, Alamo, and Rocklin!
When she’s not helping her clients, she’s traveling all over the world, propagating plants, boxing, going to music festivals or Dave Matthews concerts, and spending time with friends and family!

MACKENZIE, Nurse
Mackenize is a Registered Nurse at Be You Medical. She specializes in Botox®, Lasers, Fillers and Skincare. Her extensive experience with CO2, IPL, Fraxel, Vivace, Clear & Brilliant, Laser Hair Removal, Profound, Injectables of Filler, Sculptra or Ascelera makes her a popular choice among patients!
Mackenzie spent the first part of her career in interventional radiology. After struggling with her own acne prone skin, she paired her love for anatomy and beauty when she joined the Be You Medical team 5 years ago to help other women who may struggle with their own skin challenges.
Her upbeat, joyful demeanor may be the first thing you notice! Mackenzie is available at both the Rocklin and Grass Valley locations, depending on the day you book. Your appointments will feel more like connecting with a friend when you book with Mackenzie!
Mackenzie lives in Grass Valley with her husband and baby boy. Outside of the clinic, you’ll find her dancing or playing/coaching basketball!

MARIA, Nurse
Maria is an ADN, BSN, and Nurse Practitioner specializing in Botox®, Fillers, Sculptra, and Lasers at Be You Medical!
After receiving her degrees from Evergreen Valley College, Chamberlain College, and UC Davis, she used her expertise in the medical field as a nurse for 40 years. Maria then chose to join the Be You Medical team because of her love for helping people feel like their best selves.
Maria is well-known at the Rocklin clinic for her Injectable and Laser treatments. If you want to book with Maria, her schedule is open on Mondays and Tuesdays and one Saturday per month.
When she isn’t at the clinic, you’ll find Maria cooking, exercising, and dancing! She shares her home with her life partner and has an adult son and daughter as well as 2 granddaughters!

CLARE, Nurse
Clare is a Registered Nurse specializing in Botox®, Lasers, and Skincare. Clare received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Michigan University’s accelerated BSN program.
If you’re interested in Botox® Days, CO2, Fraxel, Vivace Microneedling, Clear and Brilliant, Intima, or Profound, Clare may be the provider for you! She provides treatments at both the Rocklin and Alamo locations.
Clare is passionate about her patients and using her time getting to know their story. She’s known for her honest, empathic demeanor. Her care for her patients and desire to help more people on their journey is in perfect alignment with Be You Medical — which is why she joined the team over four years ago!
When she isn’t working with the savvy powerhouse of women at Be You Medical, you can find her hiking, skiing, or exploring our world with her husband and two little boys!

TIFFANI, Medical Assistant
Tiffani is a Medical Assistant with over 20 years in the beauty industry. She specializes in body sculpting, in-person consultations, and assisting the nurses in their appointments.
You can book a one-on-one consultation, CoolSculpting, EM Sculpt, Miradry, Ultherapy, and pre-and post-op appointments with Tiffani at the Rocklin location.
Tiffani joined the Be You Medical team over 2 years ago. She is known for her supportive, loyal, and helpful personality — a perfect fit for the Be You Medical team culture! Tiffani loves working side-by-side with women who support women!
When she’s not at the clinic, you can find her with her spouse or family. Her favorite pastimes are snowboarding, paddle boarding, providing makeup artist services, or anything beauty!

DEIRDRE, Medical Assistant
Deirdre is a medical assistant and front desk administrator for Be You Medical. She has received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from UC Davis and Perfusion Science from USC.
Deirdre is the friendly face that will welcome you to your appointment!
Her happy place is dirt trails! As the fourth of 5 children, a love of the great outdoors was her family’s playground, introduced by her father. She has four rescue pets including two dogs, a cat, and a pig!

TESSA, Medical Assistant
Tessa is a Medical Assistant specializing in Body Sculpting, Medical Assistance, Scribing, and Front Desk Assistance at all of the Be You Medical locations.
Tessa received her Bachelors in Community Health Sciences from the University of Nevada, Reno. She joined the Be You Medical team three years ago and now loves the world of aesthetics! She’s best known as the mini-boss of the clinic!
Outside of the clinic, Tessa is outside in the sun boating, swimming, hiking, traveling — she lives for summertime! She spends most of her time with her friends, family, boyfriend, and her yellow lab, Nala!

GIANNA, Medical Assistant
Gianna is a Certified Phlebotomy Technician and specializes in Body Sculpting at Be You Medical! In addition to her work in the clinic, Gianna is also pursuing a Biological Health Science degree from Sacramento State University.
Gianna is passionate about helping others feel their best and believes every person should feel confident and happy in their skin! Gianna brings a life-long love for art and medical practice to body sculpting, ensuring each patient leaves a little better than before they arrived. If you’re interested in CoolSculpting, Emsculpt, or Miradry, look for a time on Gianna’s calendar.
She’s known around the clinic for her wisdom and is often referred to as the “computer guru!”
When she’s not at the clinic at Rocklin, Gianna loves to be outside running, hiking, backpacking, golfing, and fishing! Or, she’ll be at home with her pet chameleon, Kiwi Camelo.

DARCI, Patient Care Coordinator
Darci is a Patient Care Coordinator at Be You Medical. She specializes in communication with patients including scheduling, phone, and text lines. If you have questions about your appointment, you’ll talk with Darci for any of the Be You Medical locations!
Darci loves helping people feel and look their best and has been a part of the Be You Medical team for over 2 years. She is known at the clinic for her passion for the people in things she loves!
Darci has been married for 17 years and has two daughters and 3 dogs (who are more like kids!). She can often be found hiking, spending time with her family, reading, and doing puzzles.

CARLA, CMO
Carla is the CMO for Be You Medical and is responsible for marketing, operations, admin, consultations, and staff mentoring for the clinic!
As a graduate of California State University Sacramento with a Bachelor of Arts in Family and Consumer Services, Carla provided Botox® and Juvederm to clinics as the rep for 10 years. After interacting with Dr. Selene’s disruptive business skills, she joined the team. Her eye for detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving is used to help more patients connect with Be You Medical!
Carla brings a love for beauty and fashion to her role. She’s known for her direct candor and “get-it-done” mentality, which combined with her eye for aesthetics gives her a business savvy that’s helped the clinic navigate the challenges medical practices face.
In her free time, you’ll find Carla boating, golfing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family, especially her husband of 10 years and their two children, Olivia and Harry Jr.!

JANENE, CFO
Janene is the CFO for Be You Medical and takes care of the numbers and spreadsheets for the practice! (Good news for you — she helps us develop the discounts to save you money!)
After building her own bookkeeping practice for over 25 years, Janene joined the Be You Medical team as the CFO over 2 years ago. You may see Janene around at the Grass Valley location! She’s known around the practice for getting things done.
Janene is the support system Be You Medical needs to make sure we’re able to offer treatments to incredible patients, like you.
Janene is married to Mr. Wonderful, they have 3 married kids, 4 grandchildren, 2 big dogs, 1 cat-dog, and one tiny, teacup Poodle!
