Radiesse
The Biostimulator Filler That Builds Your Own Collagen.
FAQs about Radiesse
What’s the difference between Radiesse and a regular filler like Juvederm?
Juvederm adds volume immediately and your body slowly absorbs it. Radiesse does two things HA fillers can’t: it lasts longer — 12 to 18 months on average — and it triggers your skin to produce new collagen and elastin. When the Radiesse itself is gone, you’ve left behind real structural improvement to your skin.
Where can Radiesse be used?
FDA-approved areas include moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, the jawline, and the back of the hands. At Be You Medical, we also use Radiesse for the mid face, neck, chest, and — using advanced protocols — body areas including the arms, abdomen, knees, and buttocks.
Is Radiesse safe?
Radiesse has nearly two decades of FDA approval and a strong safety record when injected by experienced providers. One thing worth knowing: Radiesse is radiopaque, meaning it shows up on CT scans and X-rays. It won’t mask abnormalities, but let your radiologist or primary care doctor know you’ve had it so they recognize it on imaging. Radiesse is not recommended for use in the lips.
Who isn’t a good candidate for Radiesse?
Patients with a history of severe allergies, bleeding disorders, active skin infection at the planned injection site, or known sensitivity to any component of Radiesse. We’ll review your full medical history at your consultation.
What does Radiesse cost at Be You Medical?
Standard Radiesse is $875 per syringe. Hyperdilute Radiesse and our advanced protocols — Diamond and Gold — are priced per session. See the dedicated pages below for details.
What are the Hyperdilute, Diamond, and Gold protocols?
Beyond standard Radiesse, we offer three specialized treatment approaches for patients with different goals. Hyperdilute Radiesse focuses on skin quality and tightening across larger areas. The Diamond Protocol is a comprehensive combination treatment for patients who want a more complete rejuvenation result. The Gold Protocol is our most thorough single-session option, addressing skin quality, surface lines, and muscle pull simultaneously. Your injector will recommend the right approach at your consultation.
