What are the program terms?
Consent: You'll sign a treatment consent form before your first prescription.
Shipping: Medication ships overnight in a cold pack. Allow up to 10 business days from your order.
Refunds: We don't offer refunds on products, services, or memberships, including GLP-1 medication.
No-shows and cancellations: Virtual consultations follow our standard policy: $75 to cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, and $200 for a no-show.

How does the Be You Medical Weight Loss & Wellness Program work?
At Be You Medical, you can start weight loss treatment in three easy steps:
1) Book your Virtual Online Consultation under the Rocklin location (15 minute appointment).
2) Speak to your new healthcare provider through a telehealth appointment.
3) If medically appropriate, receive your 2-month supply within up to 10 business days of your order. At the 6-week mark, contact our office to re-prescribe the next 2 months, or choose optional autoship after your 2-month minimum.

Is compounded tirzepatide FDA-approved?
No. Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient and are not reviewed or approved by the FDA. This is true of all compounded medications, not just this one. Your Be You Medical provider will go over the benefits, the risks, and your other options before you start. Feel free to ask us anything about it. We want you to understand exactly what you're taking.

Medical weight loss is a program supervised by healthcare professionals, often combining prescription weight loss medications, lifestyle modifications, and regular check-ups. Who is eligible for GLP-1 injections for weight loss?
Eligibility for GLP-1 medications is determined through a thorough medical history review and consultation with an MD or NP. GLP-1 is not available while breastfeeding. Patients experiencing weight gain or having excess weight, despite weight loss efforts, may be considered for this therapy, especially if they have underlying metabolic conditions or hormonal imbalances that impact their weight management.
How quickly will I receive my medication?
Allow up to 10 business days from your order for your medication to arrive at your preferred shipping address. It ships overnight in a cold pack.
Do I need a prior prescription?
If you’re eligible for GLP-1 treatment, our MD or NP will issue you a new prescription. You don’t need a prior prescription to participate in the Be You Medical Weight Loss & Wellness Program!
How do I refill my prescription?
Patients will receive a text message at the 6-week mark asking if you would like to continue treatment and receive your next 2-month supply of medication. Please respond to that text message or contact our office at any time if you wish to continue.
After your 2-month minimum, autoship is optional. If you don't choose autoship, respond to the text or contact our office to request a refill and receive your next prescription.
Once you confirm, our MD or NP will review and renew your prescription, and your next 8-week supply will ship to your address before your current supply runs out.
How quickly can I expect to see results from GLP-1 injections?
The timeline for seeing results varies based on factors like individual weight loss goals, adherence to the treatment plan, and the presence of any chronic diseases. On average, patients may begin noticing changes in body weight within the first few weeks, but significant weight loss typically occurs over several months.

Are there any side effects of GLP-1 injections?
Possible Side Effects: As with any medication, Tirzepatide/Methylcobalamin may cause side effects. The most common include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, decreased appetite, stomach discomfort, bloating, fatigue, headache, dizziness, and mild injection site irritation. These side effects are typically mild, occur when starting treatment or increasing the dose, and often improve as your body adjusts. Your provider will review your medical history to determine if Tirzepatide is appropriate for you and discuss all potential risks, side effects, and safety information before treatment begins.
